- I would like to relate to you my experience with computers as a whole over the
- past 8 months or so. I have a A1200 at home (2nd hand - and the hasrd drive
- head crash is a pain :-(( ) and a A500. I have always loved the Amiga and
- wish I could use it at work.
-
- At work, I am using a PC 486 blah de blah with Win95! Now, Win95 is an
- improvement on Win 3.11. It's MacOS 89 but... Anyway, having used this for 8
- months now, I was getting quite use to the system. Nice colours etc...
-
- Then, one day, In a little bit of spare time I now have. I powered up my
- Amiga (other than to play Hired Guns - I just can't get my girlfriend away
- from it!!!) Workbench loaded. 4 colours - uhh I thought - this is ugly!!
-
- Then it hit me. I was slowly turning into a PC user, my brains had started
- melting and beginning to run outta my ears. There was one thing for it - hit
- the shell, spawn many processes and *USE* the OS.
-
- I was lucky - I caught this syndrome just before it got bad. Don't let the PC
- syndrome catch you. Make sure that you use the OS every now and again if you
- have to use a PC at work. It may just save your charisma, sanity and life :-)
