  12. I would like to relate to you my experience with computers as a whole over the
  13. past 8 months or so.  I have a A1200 at home (2nd hand - and the hasrd drive
  14. head crash is a pain :-((  ) and a A500.  I have always loved the Amiga and
  15. wish I could use it at work.

  17. At work, I am using a PC 486 blah de blah with Win95!  Now, Win95 is an
  18. improvement on Win 3.11.  It's MacOS 89 but...  Anyway, having used this for 8
  19. months now, I was getting quite use to the system.  Nice colours etc...

  21. Then, one day, In a little bit of spare time I now have.  I powered up my
  22. Amiga (other than to play Hired Guns - I just can't get my girlfriend away
  23. from it!!!)  Workbench loaded.  4 colours - uhh I thought - this is ugly!!

  25. Then it hit me.  I was slowly turning into a PC user, my brains had started
  26. melting and beginning to run outta my ears.  There was one thing for it - hit
  27. the shell, spawn many processes and *USE* the OS.
  28.  
  29. I was lucky - I caught this syndrome just before it got bad.  Don't let the PC
  30. syndrome catch you.  Make sure that you use the OS every now and again if you
  31. have to use a PC at work.  It may just save your charisma, sanity and life :-)
